Robbie Williams to close the 2013 BRIT Awards
It has been reported that Robbie Williams is all set to perform at the BRIT Awards 2013 and he has actually been booked to close the event. The former Take That singer is ready to celebrate his come back by finishing the event. He is also the favorite to win the award for Best British Male in the event that will take place in February.
A close source, who is associated with the award ceremony, told that Robbie Williams would surely top the bill. When a spokesperson for the event is asked about the news, he refused to confirm the news. The spokesperson told that the line up has not been finalized till now.
The former Take That singer has won 17 BRIT awards till now and he is one who has won most awards compared to any other single artist. His first solo award was Best Solo Artist in the year 1998 and most recently he won in the year 2011 when he grabbed the award for the Best British Group as part of his former band Take That.
Now, his fans can certainly expect that he will have a successful 2013. Record ticket sales have already been reported for the forthcoming tour. Tickets are still on sale. After the success of his London's O2 Arena shows in November, it was announced that he will start his European stadium tour in June. Reports suggest that he has invited Olly Murs to join on the stage.
